  BUYER BEWARE! CODE ISSUES, lies, broken promises and ends up ignoring you after you buy. Like pulling teeth working with Brian and Ron. Been in the house a year now and it was the most awful, stressful and horrible experience ever. We are still dealing with stuff, mainly just documenting at this point with them not responding so we can take them to arbitration. Warranty BBSG they have is a joke, too. The things they are "covering" have forwarded for Baldwin to follow up on with no response. I have all texts and emails saved of their broken promises over the past year too. The house layout is wonderful, but the majority of their vendors are poor and quality of work is poor. Century Roofing did our roof and we found out through an ice dam that we had no ice/water shield which is required by the city. Century Roofing told us that Baldwin specifically told them not to put it on there, it's not in the original order and that his friend was the project manager at the time, who no longer works for Century anymore. It can always be a he said she said, but given how Baldwin is handling all of our issues, and ignoring everyone in a serious matter leads me to believe they could care less. City of Lenexa has called Baldwin with no response threatening their Johnson County License. We have the original permit that they signed stating that it was to be installed and Baldwin says it's the city's fault. Laughable, even for the fact that I work for an Insurance co. and they say this to me. Shaking my head. I posted a review on their facebook page, but they have since taken it down. I have tons of photos for anyone who wants to see. Avoid them at all costs. Damaged bath tiles, grout issues, they even installed our brand new KitchenAid appliances and damaged them in the installation process. We have Nebraska Furniture Mart and KitchenAid themselves who came out to look at the oven documenting that it was their fault and it needs to be replaced. We sent all of that to them and they ignored us for over a month and after begging and pleading for just a response, Ron had the audacity to respond wittingly, stating they are "so sorry we took for granted that you would not remove the manual and look inside the oven before use". All I could do is laugh because we had pics and documented proof that was not at all the issue. That is only the tip of the ice berg on the stories and experience I have working with them. We had to get the city involved right before closing on another issue that was submitted to them to be done in regards to a retaining wall and that was a battle in itself. Brian and Ron were so nice and accommodating at the beginning. Don't be fooled. RUN AWAY.

  Ron's promises are broken. Home wasn't finished and after closing doesn't answer calls. Wood floor is buckling with staples coming up. All my new neighbors warned us. Theres more. So disappointed with the place we downsized to call home until the end. All I ask to get what we paid almost $300,000.
